CLAUDIA SEGE
Ever since I can remember, my life has been connected with animals. Growing up as an only child in Thailand, my three dogs and four cats were my best friends. I even devoted myself to caring for stray dogs — despite my parents’ warnings. I always wished to live and work with animals as an adult, too.
At the age of 20, I moved to Switzerland and attended hotel management school. I enjoyed my professional role as a receptionist at The Dolder Grand Hotel — but I deeply missed being close to animals and spending time outdoors with them in all kinds of weather.
Later, while working as a production manager for a well-known lifestyle and gourmet magazine, I came into contact with a dog trainer. On a whim, I quit my job at the magazine and began working at Walk the Dog. I received solid training from the owner, but I learned the most from the dogs themselves.
After hundreds of hours of experience working with dogs and completing my FBA certification, I became self-employed as a dogsitter in 2019.
Today, I am living my childhood dream as a dog sitter and continue to be amazed by the seemingly boundless joy for life that these wonderful creatures bring with them.
For me, every day with them is a gift — and I am firmly convinced that my four-legged protégés have such a fun time playing with their freinds.
I place great value on reliability and clear communication — both with you and with the animals.
Will you and you and your dog soon become part of my story too?
I look forward to meeting you!
