"Wow, that must be the most amazing job in the world! That has always been my dream job!" - "That's great, because I'm currently looking for someone to join my team ...".

This short conversation was the beginning of a wonderful love story. A story about nothing less than the (re)discovery of my vocation.

When I met Sebastian from “Walk The Dog” in 2014, I was working as a production manager for a well-known lifestyle & gourmet magazine – a solid job in an exciting environment.
But I wasn’t really happy, something was missing... contact with animals and being outside in nature.​

Growing up in Thailand as an only child, my three dogs and four cats were always my most faithful companions. I even treated stray dogs with love and care as if they were my own. I’ve known ever since then that my future would be happy only if I’m surrounded by animals. When I moved to Switzerland at the age of 20, I didn’t trust my instincts enough and attended a  hotel management school, from which I graduated.
 

After meandering career-wise, I finally had a chance to risk something and to let my heart guide me. So I quit my job and threw myself headlong into this new adventure: dog-sitting.​

During my time at “Walk The Dog”, I enjoyed a sound education under the tutelage of certified dog trainer Sebastian Müller. But most of all I learned from the dogs themselves. I enjoy every minute with them and leave enough space for each individual character to unfold, with one eye always focused on the well-being of the whole pack.

For me, every day with them is a present, and I am firmly convinced that my protégés also perceive every minute with us as a gift.

 

Five years after that momentous conversation, a new chapter began: with hundreds of hours of experience and the completion of FBA training, I started my own business.

 

And who knows, maybe you and your best friend will soon be part of my story...?
